Third-party notices
World Clue uses third-party data, images, maps and software under their own licences. This page supplies additional notices and licence copies for distributed components. Individual clue information views, image credits and map guides contain further source-specific attribution.
Notice review: 7 October 2026. A source being publicly available does not make it free of copyright or other restrictions. Open licences do not necessarily grant trademark, personality or publicity rights. Names, flags, emblems and likenesses are used for identification and education, without implying endorsement.
NASA Black Marble (2016)
NASA Earth Observatory images by Joshua Stevens, using Suomi NPP VIIRS data from Miguel Román, NASA GSFC. Original imagery and NASA imagery usage guidelines. Use does not imply NASA endorsement.
World Clue changes: country masking using the existing public-domain Natural Earth boundaries, latitude-adjusted framing, resizing and lossless WebP encoding. Original grayscale brightness is retained.
libphonenumber 9.0.23

World Clue changes: country calling-code evidence was extracted, normalized to country records, reviewed, and combined with separately documented corrections. World Clue does not ship the libphonenumber program library.

Debian iso-codes
Copyright the iso-codes contributors. Licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1 or later (included copy). Revision-pinned upstream source and corresponding source archive for that upstream revision.
World Clue changes: registry records were selected and country, language, and currency identifiers and labels were normalized into World Clue’s country-data schema.
